Neuropsychiatry or Neuropsychology is a discipline which combines elements of both psychology and neurology. It studies how a brain functions in response to behaviour, cognition and emotions.

A neuropsychologist or neuropsychotherapist is a one who specialises in psychology but gets trained in understanding the correlation between physical brain and behaviour. The brain is most important element of the body and it is very complex to study. Any disorders or damage affects the nervous system leading to change in behaviour and cognitive function.
