Sebaceous Cyst & Lipoma Removal

Causes of Sebaceous Cyst
Sebaceous Cyst may occur in the sebaceous gland which produces oil called sebum which coats the hair and skin. When sebaceous gland gets blocked, a cyst may form due to nonpassage of sebum. Generally, no specific cause is found. Other possible factors are scratch, surgical wound, skin condition blocking the sebum to be released. It is to keep in mind, it never grows immediately, it may take months and years. Some other reasons or factors are:-
- Blockage of hair follicles
- Physics trauma
- High levels of testosterone
- Wear and tear of ducts in the body resulting in fluid build-up
